Bhubaneswar, March 23 (IANS) India Sunday test fired the Agni-I missile from a test facility on Wheeler Island in the Orissa coast.
The test was conducted on the island near Bhamra in the district of Bhadrak, 150 km from here, at 10.15 a.m.
The Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile (IRBM) has already been inducted in the Indian Army. According to sources, this was a limited stock production test of Agni-I.
The missile was selected at random from a bunch of missiles for the test.
