Damascus : Political leaders, academicians, and different personalities and experts of the Arab community Tuesday expressed their confidence in the importance of the meeting of the heads of States of the region to be held on March 29 and 30 in this capital.
We hope that the 20th Summit of the Arab League will create a base for solidarity and favor joint views on common issues for finding a unifying position to them, said the assistant of the secretary general of that organization.
Mohammad Al-Khamlichi, who has already arrived in this capital, recalled that experts study the preliminary agenda recently agreed at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo, and its content endeavours the progress and peace of the member countries.
Ahmad Bin Hilli, another assistant of the Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, recognizes that the role and the reaction of Damascus authorities to the impact topics for the area will favor the success of the summit.
Bin Hilli recalled that the summit agenda includes the discussion of different political, economic, social, and security topics of that community which require honest deliberations and brave positions.
