Iran’s commander of border guards confers with Azeri president

Baku : Iran’s Commander of Border Guards Qassem Rezaei conferred with Azeri President Ilham Aliyev here Monday.

In the meeting, developments in relations between border guards of both countries were discussed.

Deepening cooperation among border guards of Iran and Azerbaijan Republic to confront border violations and also exchange of experiences were considered as an important and effective step.

Rezaei heading a delegation arrived in Baku on Monday for a 2-day visit.

The Iranian commander also met with his Azeri counterpart Alcin Qoliyev today.
