Climate Change Signs Already Visible

By Prensa Latina,

Washington : All continents and the majority of oceans have already experienced significant changes related to the increase in temperatures, as it reads an article disclosed in journal Nature.

The research developed by experts of the Institute of Earth of the University of Columbia stands out that almost all ecosystems of the planet are affected by the global warming.

The terrestrial biological systems and those of temperatures below cero are the ones damaged the most, although there are also disorders in coastal, biological life and fresh water, agriculture and forestry areas, the text adds.

Ninety percent of the changes observed are to be permanent, the report assures, based on research and work published on Biology of fauna in the last 35 years.

Authors emphasize that the increase in temperatures is given due to the greenhouse effect, caused by industrial gas emissions, not from natural causes.
