Jaipur : A man suspected to have links with the outlawed Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) was detained early Saturday in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan for his suspected links to the serial bombings in Jaipur, police sources said.
Sajid, 30, a teacher at a madrassa in Badi Udai village, about 200 km from here, was detained at about 3 a.m. by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Rajasthan Police which is probing Tuesday’s blasts that killed 63 people and injured over 200.
Police sources said Sajid was brought to Jaipur, where he was being interrogated.
