Kuwait : His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah stressed Saturday the government’s keenness for facilitating the smooth flow of the 2008 parliamentary elections, which kicked off this morning.
Speaking to reporters after touring a school in Jabriya, third constituency, he said that the “process is running smoothly and positively,” noting that there were some polling stations that were receiving large numbers of voters.
He lauded the organization at the polling stations and the voters’ cooperation with authorities on location.
His Highness the Prime Minister wished candidates success, and expressed hope that the coming parliament would see the participation of women for the first time.
