Turnout in 1st district at 25.5 pct by noon

Kuwait : Approximate turnout in the first constituency by noon on Saturday, as surveyed by KUNA, stood at 16,950 votes, or 25.5 percent of the 66,641 eligible voters registered in the district.

The turnout was based on a survey of most of the 75 electoral committees in the 19 residential areas.

The first constituency consists of Sharq, Desma, Mataba, Dasman, Bneid Al-Gar, Daiya, Shaab, Failaka and all islands, Hawally, Nigra, Maidan Hawally, Bayan, Mishref, Salmiya, Bidaa, Ras, Salwa, Rumaithiya, and Mubarak Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Area.

There are a total of 66,641 eligible voters registered in the constituency, of which 30,070 are men and 36,571 are women.
