Vienna : The price for crude oil produced by the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) jumped by more than $3 to a record-breaking $127.59 per barrel, OPEC said Friday.
One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude stood at $127.59 Thursday up $3.14 from $124.46 the previous day.
OPEC calculates an average basket price based on 13 important brands produced by cartel members.
