Shimla : Anurag Thakur, son of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, Sunday won the Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate with a thumping margin of nearly 175,000 votes.
Thakur, president of the state cricket association, broke the victory record of 80,000 votes his father set on the same seat last year.
