By NNN-KUNA,

Cairo : The Executive Bureau of the Arab Justice Council has agreed on the formation of a committee for documenting genocide and humanitarian and war crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.

Bureau members, who met at the Arab League headquarters Tuesday, agreed to form the six-member committee, presided by Palestinian Justice Minister Ali Khashana.

In a press release, the Palestinian minister said the proposed committee would be placing a work plan so that it may begin carrying out its tasks, but foresaw that its work would meet obstacles.

On his part, Saudi Justice Minister Abdullah Al-Sheikh said that the bureau discussed topics that would be discussed at the next ministerial meeting, including the mechanism for following up on the implementation of the Arab counter-terrorism agreement.

The meeting included a discussion of the draft agreement for combating money laundering, funding terrorism, boosting Arab-international counter-terrorism cooperation, as well as draft bills for monitoring and regulating organ transplants, preventing cloning for the purpose of breeding, counter-corruption, and revising children’s rights guidelines.

Discussion on the Arab counter-corruption agreement and the draft agreement for combating trans-border crime was also completed.
