Gujjar stir continues to affect rail traffic

Ahmedabad : The Gujjar community blocking railway tracks in parts of Rajasthan continued Wednesday to affect the railway traffic, especially between Delhi and western centres like Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

The Western Railway cancelled and diverted many trains.

The trains cancelled are: Ahmedabad-Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti Express, Bandra-Gorakhpur Awadh Express, Mumbai Central-Nizamuddin August Kranti Rajdhani Express, Mumbai Central-Ferozepur Express, Bandra-Dehradun Express, Bandra-Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti Express, Mumbai Central-Ferozepur Express, Indore-Nizamuddin Express, Ahmedabad-Patna Azimabad Express, Ahmedabad-Gorakhpur Holiday Special and Bandra-Jammu Tawi Holiday Special.

The trains diverted via Nagda-Ujjain-Bhopal are: Hapa-Jammu Tawi Express, Mumbai Central-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, Bandra-Amritsar Pashchim Express, Mumbai Central-Amritsar Golden Temple Express, New Delhi-Mumbai Central Rajdhani Express, Amritsar-Bandra-Pashchim Express, Amritsar-Mumbai Central Golden Temple Express and Jammu Tawi-Bandra-Swaraj Express.
