Al Jumuah magazine enters Indian market

New Delhi: Highly circulated international Islamic magazine Al Jumuah, published from Saudi Arabia, U.S. and U.K., will now be available to readers in India also.

The distributor of Al Jumuah magazine in New Delhi Hasan Ahmad Siddiqui gave this information, adding that the purpose of the magazine is to address the challenges of modern times in the light of the Holy Quran and Hadiths and introduce Islamic system of life to common man. The magazine, published in both Arabic and English languages, was started in 1991.

Siddiqui said around 30,000 copies of the magazine are published and it is read in 115 countries. This is a unique record for a religious journal published in English and Arabic, said Siddiqui. Although Al Jumuah office has been in Delhi for some time and about 2,000 subscribers have been registered in India, now its operation will be conducted in an organized way and our associates will visit door to door and Ijtima grounds for registering new members, said Siddiqui.

The magazine will also play an important role in promoting unity and brotherhood among Muslims and non-Muslims besides training the new generations, he said. Siddiqui said the magazine specifically addresses students belonging to well-educated families.
