Patna: A total of 187 hajj pilgrims of 7th batch departed for Madina, Saudi Arabia, today from the Haj Bhawan, situated in the sate capital. Family members along with prominent people were they to wish them a safe and pleasant journey.
President of Aimma Masajid Bihar Maulana Ekraml Haque addressed the joint prayer held before the departure of each flight. He said that all Muslims dream this holy journey in their life. He guided the pilgrims on different elements of hajj and suggested them to perform this act with all their devotion with the thoughts to leave all evils behind.
He asked the pilgrims to bear all difficulties of this journey without any complaints. He said to perform dua for prosperity, brotherhood, and safeguard of the community as well as the nation. He said that those who have got this chance to perform hajj must consider it as a boon.
This act of Islam spreads the feeling of brotherhood irrespective of any geographical boundary and faith. He asked the pilgrims to pray for communal harmony and peace in the world on the holy land Mecca.
As per official report of the state hajj committee 5,429 pilgrims from the state will fly for hajj this year and two flights are operating everyday which will continue till November 24. The return journey will start from December 13.
Despite hike in inflation rate in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and increase in additional expenses the number of pilgrims has increased this year.
