London : Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and Everton manager David Moyes were both disciplined by the Football Association (FA) for improper conduct.
Ferguson received a two-match touchline ban and a 10,000-pound fine while Moyes was fined 5,000 pounds by the FA Tuesday.
Ferguson’s punishment came after the Scot showed his fury towards referee Mike Dean in United’s recent 4-3 victory at Old Trafford.
The manager was initially angry that he did not send off Hull’s Michael Turner for a foul on Michael Carrick and then was incensed that he awarded Hull a penalty.
Moyes was sent to the stands by Alan Wiley during Everton’s 3-2 league win at Stoke City, having criticised the referee for not awarding his side a penalty.
