“This joint venture will facilitate the adoption of global best practices in quality, which besides enhancing competitiveness of Indian industries will also help them become truly world class,” Ficci secretary general Amit Mitra said.

Added ASQ executive director and chief strategy officer Paul Borawski: “This alliance will herald a new era in the history of quality movement in India – one of the world’s fastest growing and most important economies.”

The new entity, ‘Ficci-ASQ Foundation for Innovation and Excellence’ would help deploy ASQ technologies that would help organisations focus on operational excellence and revenue growth.
