Melbourne : Daniel Chopra dropped 15 places to be placed at tied 22nd at the midway stage of the Australian Masters Friday. The Indo-Swede fired a round of even par-72 for a total of two-under 142 for 36 holes.
Chopra was five shots behind leader Tim Clark (70) of South Africa, who was at seven-under 137. Anthony Summers (68) and Marcel Sim (66) were tied for second at six-under 138.
Meanwhile, Shiv Kapur missed the cut with another disastrous round of 77, which following a first round of 78 gave him a total of 11-over 155 as the cut came at one-over 145.
