Washington : President George W. Bush on Friday discussed the global financial crisis with his Australian counterpart, the White House said.
“As part of his ongoing discussions with world leaders on the global financial situation, President Bush spoke with Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd this morning, ” national security spokesman Gordon Johndroe said in a statement.
Bush has been talking with other leaders around the world in an effort to create a coordinated approach to what some are calling the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930s.
