Islamabad : A suspected suicide bomber on Thursday attacked a police station in northwestern Pakistan, killing at least three policemen, local media reported.
The bomber detonated explosive in a car in the police station in Mingora, main town of the restive Swat valley of North West Frontier Province, and also injured more than 20 security personnel.
The suicide bomber managed to take his explosive-laden car inside the heavily-guarded police station at around 1 a.m., when most of the security men were asleep, News Network International (NNI) news agency said.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
