Mohali : Australia were 141 for five in the second innings at stumps at close of play on the fourth day of the second Test against India at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium here Monday. Australia need another 375 runs to win the match.
Michael Clarke (42) and Brad Haddin (8) were at the crease when stumps were drawn. Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh picked up three wickets for 23 runs while fast bowler Ishant Sharma snared two for 29.
India made 469 in the first innings and declared their second innings for 314 to set a 516 run target for Australia. The visitors were bowled out for 268 in the first innings.
