Kashmir: BJP throws party for PAK’s ex-president’s son

Mendhar : Farooq Sikander Khan-son of former president of Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PAK) who entered the Poonch district from Chakan-Da-Bagh on Monday today visited his relatives at Mendhar.

Sources told News Agency of Kashmir that he was extended warm welcome by his relatives at Mendhar and a party was arranged for him in a local hotel at Mendhar by local Bhartiya Janata Party leaders.

Farooq Sikander Khan had come to Mendhar to the house of Talaq Sarwar Khan for the first time since opening of the crossing point. He is also member of Council for PAK.

The party has been arranged for him by District Vice President BJP Chander Sharma under the supervision of Haji Mohammad Ilyas Khan BJP candidate for Mendhar constituency.

Leaders of various political parties including PDP, RJD, PDF and BJP besides Ved Vyas Dutta Chairman Mendhar Peace Committee and BMO Mendhar Mumtaz Bhatti were present on the occasion.
