New Delhi : Hindustan Construction Co (HCC) on Friday posted net profits of Rs.199 million for the second quarter ended Sep 30, up 71.55 percent from the corresponding period last year.
The company’s revenues increased 27 percent to Rs.6.89 billion in the quarter under review, from Rs.5.49 billion in the same period last year.
“We are pleased to announce strong numbers for the second quarter,” said HCC chairman and managing director Ajit Gulabchand.
“Despite changing economic conditions, we have witnessed growth in all segments of our business. The strong financial performance, improved margins and significant growth in the order book showcase the client confidence in HCC,” he added.
