New Delhi : Condemning the multiple blasts in the Indian capital, the US Saturday rallied behind India and underlined that it “stands shoulder to shoulder” with New Delhi in the fight against terrorism.
“There is no justification for the vicious murder of innocent people. The US stands shoulder to shoulder with India in the fight against terrorism,” US ambassador to India David Mulford said in a statement here.
“The US condemns horrific acts of terrorism in New Delhi on behalf of the people and government of the US,” Mulford said while expressing his deepest sympathies for those injured and the families of the victims.
Multiple blasts in Delhi Saturday evening have killed at least 18 people and left nearly 100 injured and plunged the city into collective shock and horror.
