New York : Describing the terror bombings in Delhi as an attack on Indian society, Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi said the country was determined to defeat the designs of the bombers.
“I don’t know why they do it or what their demands are. But with such acts they gain nothing, merely disturb normal civil life,” Vayalar Ravi said here Saturday.
He was speaking at a reception at the Indian Consulate in honour of a delegation of Indian MPs on a goodwill visit to the US. The Delhi blasts left at least 20 people dead and nearly 100 injured by official count.
