La Paz : At least 15 people were killed and several others injured when two buses collided on a highway linking the Bolivian provinces of La Paz and Oruro, the EFE news agency reported Monday citing police officials.
The accident occurred when the two buses collided head-on near Calamarca town in La Paz Sunday, highway patrol police chief Colon Jose Murillo said.
All the injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals, the official said and added that the number of casualties could rise as many injured were in serious condition.
