Raipur : A 40-year-old mentally challenged man Tuesday axed to death five people, included his two sons, in Chhattisgarh’s Jashpur district and then killed himself, the police said.
The incident took place at Sukhwasi Gala village in Jashpur district, some 400 km from here.
“Tengna Rawat created a bloodbath by brutally murdering five of his relatives with an axe. He then killed himself with the same weapon,” Akbar Ram Korram, district superintendent of police, Jashpur, told IANS on phone.
