Mumbai : A police head constable and his wife were found murdered and their minor daughter seriously injured at their house in the State Reserve Police Force camp at Goregaon in northwest Mumbai late Tuesday night.
According to Deputy Police Commissioner A. Patil, the murder took place at around 11 p.m.
Gulab Sable and his wife Chitra Sable were found murdered and their seven-year-old daughter Roshi injured. Two other girls, Mayuri and Maheshwari escaped as they had gone out during the incident, police said.
The head constable’s brother, Aba Sable, is suspected to have committed the murder as Gulab had failed to return Rs.15,000 borrowed from him.
Roshni has been admitted to the nearby Lifeline hospital.
