Bhopal : A former minister in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan cabinet was Wednesday literally pushed out of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state office when he was talking to reporters after submitting his resignation from the party.
Irked over not being fielded in the Lok Sabha polls, Akhand Pratap Singh Yadav is sad to have resigned from the BJP two days ago, saying the party was against the poor and backward communities.
As the party denied having received any resignation, Yadav went to the state party headquarters and handed over his resignation to state BJP vice president Vijendra Singh Sisodia.
As Yadav came out and spoke to some TV journalists, BJP workers pushed him till he was out of the office premises.
Sisodia, when contacted, refused to comment on the issue.
