The joint practice test for the students of IIT-JEE was conducted at Rahmani-30

Patna: The IITs were created to train scientists and engineers, with the aim of developing a skilled workforce to support the economic and social development of India after independence. Success in Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) has always been dream of majority of students. Last year around 3.1 lakhs candidates appeared in IIT-JEE and this year this figure is expected to go up to 3.75 lakhs.

Abhayanand is a 1977 batch IPS officer, currently serving as Additional Director General of Police, has been in forefront to help students in fulfilling their IIT dream for more than six years. This year too there are 56 students who have been trained by Abhayanand and will participate in IIT-JEE.



Despite his busy official schedule, Abhayanand has been giving sufficient time to these students to shape up their talent.

It is to be noted that there are many preparatory centers in Bihar which are being run under the guidance of Abhayanand namely Rahmani-30 (Patna), Triveni Super-30 (Patna), Magadh Super -30 (Gaya), Ang Super -30 (Bhagalpur) and Nalanda Super-30 (Bihar Sharif).

The joint practice test was conducted yesterday in Rahmani-30 Center, for all the above mentioned groups. The test was a part of the series of 25 full tests in a year for the preparation of IIT-JEE-2009 which has been being conducted in Patna from January 2009.

Students and teachers held a prayer programme for the good health of Abhayanand who is recently in hospital for a minor operation. After the test students and teachers held a prayer for the good health of Abhayanand. After the test, students visited hospital to wish him speedy recovery.



The prayer programme was attended by scholars and dignitaries such as Mufti Imarat Shariah Md. Sohail Ahmad Qasmi, Zainul Abedin (Rtd Commissioner, Sugar Cane Dept, Government of Bihar), Javed Ahmad, Mohammad Lal, M. Kareem, Syed M. Kareem, Shakir Hussain (Faculties Rahmani-30) Pankaj Kumar, Ram Pratap (Faculties Triveni-30) Dr. Ajoy, Mrs. Dr. Ajoy, Upender Kumar (Faculties Ang-30), Management and students of all centers.
