New Delhi: Fatih Ra’na of Kishanganj, Bihar and Prof. Faizan Mustafa of AMU are in news, one for qualifying National Talent Search and the other for becoming vice-chancellor of National Law University.
Fatih Ra’na of Thakur Ganj in Kishanganj is an eight standard student of Adarsh Middle School. He is only Muslim among seven girl and boy students who appeared for National Talent Search 2008 from the district and succeeded. Fatih Ra’na also topped in his school in this year’s annual examination.
Meanwhile, the news came that the present director of IIT Law School in Bhuvaneshwar, Prof. Faizan Mustafa, a former registrar of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been appointed as vice-chancellor of National Law University. Dr. Mustafa got LLB, LLM and Ph. D. degrees from AMU before becoming lecturer and then professor there. He has authored eight books on law.
