New Delhi: On the eve of the second phase of Lok Sabha elections the All India Milli Council has appealed to voters of the country especially of Uttar Pradesh to be cautious of the divisive forces who are trying to divide the Muslim votes. In a press statement released here yesterday the general secretary of All India Milli Council Dr. Manzoor Alam has said that some political parties and anti-social elements are working against the Muslim interests.
“At a time when we are trying hard to preserve the democratic principles and establish a just order, some political parties and anti-social elements are trying to disperse the Muslim votes and also conspiring to weaken the campaign for political participation of the Muslims in the country” said Dr. Manzoor Alam. He appealed to the Muslim voters to defeat the evil designs of the BJP and save the country from moral bankruptcy by preserving the democratic values.
