Srinagar: Union Minister for Health Ghulam Nabi Azad continues to be the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir at least for his party colleagues, who have worked as cabinet minister in erstwhile PDP-Congress regime.
This became clear when Minister for Tourism Nawang Rigzin Jora had to eat a humble pie during inauguration of Second Kashmir Cup International Rafting Championship at Sonamarg today.
As Jora rose to address the gathering he addressed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah as Ghualm Nabi Azad. “Hon’ble Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad”, he says as he begun to address. Realizing the mistake he immediately corrected himself and sought apology. This followed a peal of laughter with a broad smile on the face of Omar.
