Agra: A employee of the Uttar Pradesh Roadways fell 30 feet while fixing the national flag for hoisting Saturday morning and succumbed to his injuries, police said.
Devanand, 43, the in-charge of the state roadways depot at Foundry Nagar, climbed up the ladder to fix the flag for hoisting but slipped and fell 30 feet. He was rushed to the emergency ward of S.N. Medical College, where doctors pronounced him dead.
