Chennai : Tamil Nadu expectedly defeated Rajasthan by 210 runs in the Elite Group match of the Under-19 cricket tournament for the Cooch Behar trophy, here Monday.
Rajasthan collapsed for 114 in their second innings while chasing an improbable target of 325 in a minimum of 74 overs as leg-spinner Shravan Krishnan claimed four for 38 for match figures of 10 for 114.
Earlier, Tamil Nadu were bundled out for 252 after resuming their second innings at the overnight score of 213 for six.
Tamil Nadu thus gained five points for a tally of nine in the concluding league fixture to retain their position in the Elite Group.
