India assures foreign tourists

New Delhi : India on Thursday assured foreign tourists reacting to the US travel advisory on security concerns.

The External Affairs Minister S M Krishna told reporters in New Delhi that the foreign tourists have nothing to worry.

“India is a very safe country and thousands of foreigners have been moving freely in the length and breadth of the country”, said Krishna.

He was reacting to the US travel advisory on security concerns over travel to certain parts of India including Andhra Pradesh.

This is the third travel alert issued by the US since the 29th October.
