By IANS,

Ghaziabad : Three of the four men who were lynched when they allegedly robbed a house at Loni, near the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border, have been identified, police said Wednesday.

The three men lynched by angry residents of Loni Sunday night have been identified as Shahnaz, Laddan and Shahnawaz alias Irfan.

The bodies of the trio were handed over to their families, police said.

The four along with two other accomplices had broken into the house of Ramesh Bhardwaj, and as they were scaling the wall to escape, one of the stolen articles fell down, making a loud noise and waking up many in the neighbourhood.

A group of people then caught hold of the robbers and brutally beat them to death. Two of their accomplices managed to get away, police said.
