Mumbai : The Indian equities markets again fell marginally at the opening bell Tuesday, with a key index losing 0.12 percent over its previous close.
The sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) was down 0.12 percent or 10.77 points Tuesday and was trading at 9,120.82 points about 15 minutes into the trade.
The Sensex opened at 9,042.36 points – lower than its previous close of 9,110.05.
The broader S&P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) performed similarly and was trading at 2,755.9 points, 0.62 percent lower.
Other market indices also fell with BSE’s midcap index trading 0.25 percent lower and the smallcap index shedding 0.34 percent.
