Tehran : Hamas number two official Musa Abu Marzuq on Sunday confirmed that the Palestinian movement has accepted a one-week truce in Gaza.
In a televised speech in Demascus, he said the ceasefire has been declared to permit the Zionists forces to pull out of Gaza.
The Zionists have been failed to impose their conditions, he said adding that the Palestinian movement however will announce a ceasefire in Gaza Strip to let the enemies forces to withdraw from the area within one week and reopen all border passages to permit the flow of humanitarian assistance as well as essential goods for the needy people in Gaza.
“We are ready to welcome all efforts mainly by Egypt, Turkey, Syria and Qatar to reach an agreement which meets our requirements. We have called for the total removal of blockade and reopening of border crossing such as Rafah which is located between Gaza and Egypt,” he said.
