New Delhi : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who has undergone a successful heart surgery, must have had “some stress”, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee has said.
“Some stress must have been there but I really don’t know how this has happened,” Mukherjee told Shekhar Gupta in an interview for NDTV to be telecast Jan 31.
“But I can say that doctors have done a good job and I hope for his speedy recovery,” said Mukherjee, according to an NDTV release.
Asked about the shadowy outfit ‘Indian Mujahideen’ that has claimed responsibility for a series of bomb blasts in various cities in India last year, he said: “Somebody may claim that I am Indian Mujahideen, this incident was also claimed like that but later on it was found out..”
Queried if he doubted that Indian Mujahideen was not fully Indian, Mukherjee replied: “Of course, of course.”
