Darul Qada inaugurated in Kerala

Kochi: Scholars should take care to avoid situations in which a small problem affects the social development of a people, said Maulana Muhammed Wali Rahmani, Secretary, All India Muslim Personal Law Board. He was inaugurating the state-level Darul Qada, set up by the Kerala Imams Council, in Malappuram district.

Qazis should be able to solve family problems. The system of Darul Qada can be very helpful in speedy solution of family problems without loss of time and money. The Qazis should fair justly. The system should be introduced and Qazis appointed in all districts of the state, he added.

The Darul Qadas will be a great relief for the people of Kerala, wished Mr. E Aboobaker, founding member of the Personal Law Board and former chairman of the Popular Front of India. Moulvi Isa Fadil Manba’i, state chairman of the Darul Qada, said that the Darul Qadas aim at solving problems easily and simply, without any financial difficulties. Arimbra Muhammed Master, District Panchayat President, praised the programme as a social duty and expressed his hope that people would extend support to the programme.

Karamana Ashraf Moulvi presided over the function, which was attended by T. Abdurahman Baqawi (former state president, Popular Front of India) and Moulana Usman Baig Rashadi (chairman, Imams Council, Karnataka) among other leaders of the party from the state.
