New York: UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon Friday strongly condemned the bombings in the Indonesian capital Jakarta in which nine people were killed and scores of others injured.
Ban expressed confidence that the Indonesian government will promptly investigate the attack and bring the perpetrators to justice with the same resolve demonstrated in previous acts of terrorism in Indonesia.
Ban extended his condolences to the families of the victims and expressed his solidarity with the government and people of Indonesia.
