New Delhi : The sun will be beating down and the mercury will be touching scorching highs — it will be a midsummer Lok Sabha election this time too with large swathes of the country reeling under the proverbial Indian summer, just like it was in 2004.
The Election Commission Monday announced that elections would be held over five phases from April 16 to May 13. In 2004, it was conducted in four phases from April 20 to May 10.
While counting then was held May 13, this time the results would be out May 16.
