Marginal hike in aviation fuel prices

New Delhi : After a string of reductions, state-run oil companies Sunday raised aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices by at least 1.69 percent, or Rs.162 per kilolitre (kl).

Jet fuel will cost Rs.27,275 per kl in Delhi from Sunday midnight as against Rs.27,106.

The price will go up to Rs.28,023 in Mumbai from Rs.27,861 per kl, an official of Indian Oil Corp (IOC) said.

This is the second time since September last year that the oil firms have raised ATF prices. They earlier had raised prices by 3.3 percent Jan 16.

ATF prices had peaked to Rs.71,028.26 per kl in Delhi in August last year after prices touched a high of $147 a barrel in the international market.
