Islamabad : A suicide bomber blew up his explosives-packed car in a Pakistani tribal region and killed nine civilians and a soldier on Monday, TV channels reported.
Two other security men were also injured when the bomber rammed his vehicle into the car of the security men near a check post at Darra Adam Khel tribal area, reports added.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. But government put the blame of similar attacks on suspected Taliban.
Taliban militants have so far carried out several attacks on security forces in Darra Adam Khel, a town some 30 kilometers southwest of Peshawar, the provincial capital of North West Frontier Province.
Officials said that the bomber tried to hit a security check post and exploded his bomb near its gate.
