Chandigarh : The Chandigarh police Friday conducted surprise raids at various cyber cafes in this union territory and found over a dozen cafes were not keeping proper records of the customers.

However, the police are yet to register a case against the cafe owners.

“So far we have not registered any case. We are recording the statements of cafe owners. Only after proper verification we will take action,” Uday Pal, station house officer of Sector 34 (under whose jurisdiction Sector 44 and village Burail fall), told IANS here late Friday evening.
