Civil Liberties Monitoring Committee launches its magazine

New Delhi: Hyderabad-based Civil Liberties Monitoring Committee (CLMC) has been raising voice against injustice and atrocities by police in the country especially in Andhra Pradesh. Now to spread its voice the organization has launched a magazine named Civil Liberties Monitor.

Famous Islamic scholar Maulana Mohd Naseeruddin along with some human rights activists including Harsh Mandar, Prof. Har Gopal, Prof. Rama Malkote, S.R. Shankaran, Retd principal secretary to the Govt of A.P. were present at the inauguration program on September 30.



The magazine will inform public and mobilize them against torture, torture cells, custodial deaths and killing of innocents in the name of encounters. It will also make all efforts to stop the atrocities done by police and private outfits and to expose the exploitation of the natural resources done on the name of globalization.
