Ranchi: Two children were killed and two injured when a bomb went off in Jharkhand’s second capital Dumka Sunday evening, police said.
“The children were playing with a bomb, thinking it was a ball. They seem to have found it from bushes. The bomb went off, killing two children, aged eight and 10, and injuring two other children,” a Dumka district police official told IANS over telephone.
“The injured children have been admitted in a hospital and the condition of one of them is said to be serious. We are trying to ascertain who had hidden the bomb in bushes,” he said.
