Kabul : A suicide bomber blew himself up in eastern Afghan province of Laghman Wednesday when a senior intelligence official was visiting tribal elders, a media report said.
The blast took place at 11 a.m. (0630GMT) in the provincial capital Mehterlam, Ariana television reported.
It also reported that the attack occurred while senior intelligence official Abdullah Laghmani was visiting tribal elders.
Witnesses said the suicide bomber was killed in the blast.
