Kochi: The Ittihadu Shubbanil Mujahideen (ISM), youth wing of the Nadvathul Mujahideen Kerala, organized a friendly meet of the leaders of youth organizations in Kerala yesterday. The meet organized by the state committee in Kozhikode expressed its concern over the increasing influence of quotation groups in the state. The get-together called for a common united move without considering religion, caste and political orientation against criminalization which destroys the stability of the society.
The get-together was organized as part of the state conference of the ISM to be held in Thrissur on 2 and 3, January 2010. ‘Youth for Virtue and Reformation’ is the slogan of the conference. The get together was inaugurated by CP Umer Sullami, general secretary of the Nadvathul Mujahideen.
Mujeeb Rahman Kinaloor, president of ISM, Adv PA Muhammed Riyas, member of Democratic Youth Federation of India state committee, Adv T Siddique, former state president of the Youth Congress, CK Subair, state treasurer of the Muslim Youth League, P Mujeeb Rahman, president of the Solidarity Youth Movement, Sikander, youth wing state president of the Muslim Service Society, ATM Ashraf, state secretary of the Muslim Education Society, Abdul Azeez, state president of the National Youth League, Abdul Latheef Kurumpulakkal, NM Abdul Jaleel and UP Yahya Khan spoke at the function.
