Patna: To promote communal harmony and to send a message of mutual friendship, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind organized an Eid get-together program at its Headquarters in Jamia Nagar, New Delhi on 26th September.
The program hall was thronged with common people as well as representatives of almost all major Muslim organizations along with other communities such as Hindu and Sikh. The attendees sent message to the world that still major numbers of Indian are positive-minded who are always in search of peace and harmony.
“Crushing moral values from educational curriculum is deplorable whereas the real purpose of the education is to make good citizens. Loss and gain of the country are the loss and gain of all of us, every citizen wants to do good for the country in his own way but we have to see which way is in the favour of country” said Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, president of JIH, at the program.
Sharing his view with leaders of different religions, journalists and social activists, he also made it clear that country’s progress is exulting for us but at the same time weaker sections should also be uplift along with the country’s progress, as progress of the country is impossible without the progress of weaker sections.
The other prominent personalities who attended and addressed the program are general secretary of Jamiat Ahlehadith, Maulana Asghar Imam Mehdi, Member of Parliament Maulana Mahmood Madani, Udut Raj, Kuldeep Nayer, Ml Abdul Wahab Khilji, G.M. Khan, Pramjeet Singh Sarna, Iran’s Ambassador, France’s Dy. Ambassador, Shankaracharya Onkaranandji.
Mr. Iqbal Mulla, Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Hind was the convener of the program.
