Political School inaugurated in Malappuram

Kochi: Panakkad Syed Hyderali Shihab Thangal, Kerala state president of the Muslim League, inaugurated the Political School at Panakkad in Malappuram yesterday. The political school is aimed at creating politically aware leaders who are responsible and sincere to the society and nation. The school marks the beginning of the plan formed last year by the All India Institute of Political Science (AIIPS) based in Kozhikode.

Munawarali Shihab Thangal, chairman of AIIPS, presided over the inaugural function held at the Kodappanakkal house (of the Thangal family) at Panakkad in Malappuram district. PK Kunhalikkutty, state general secretary of the Muslim League, conveyed the message of AIIPS to the scholars selected from the different districts in the state. Senior journalist in ‘Chandrika’ daily CP Saidalavi, Muslim League leader Sadiqali Shihab Thangal, Kerala Muslim Educational Association chairman Basheerali Shihab Thangal, writer C Hamsa and Youth League Malappuram district president PA Salam spoke at the function.
